Two minutes, a strip of paper and a ruler. Do it once and you will know your size for good.
Measure your finger
- Cut a strip of paper about 1 cm wide.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger — snug, but able to slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where the paper overlaps.
- Lay it flat and measure to the mark in millimetres. That number is your circumference.
- Find it in the table below.
Measure a ring you already own
Measure straight across the inside of the ring, edge to edge, in millimetres. That is the inside diameter column.

Three things worth knowing
- Fingers swell in heat and late in the day. Measure in the evening for the truest fit.
- Between two sizes? Go up. A ring that will not pass the knuckle is no use.
- Wide bands sit tighter than thin ones — for a chunky band, size up.
